The boutique Vinothek in Frankfurt’s prime location combines wine buying with wine enjoyment. Atmospherically, a world of handcrafted materials is created with fine details, which takes up the basic concept of wine production and transfers it into the space.

We believe in wines with character and provenance – wines that tell a story and show attitude.
That's why we exclusively stock artisanal wines from winemakers who work in harmony with nature – biodynamic or certified organic, without synthetic additives or technical cellar interventions.
Our selection is based on genuine encounters: we know all the winemakers personally, have visited their vineyards, and tasted their wines together. Each wine is the result of this meticulous search – far beyond labels and ratings.
We offer wines that must be experienced: extraordinary, complex, and shaped by the soil in which they grow. Many come from small, strictly limited productions, often single-barrel allocations, which we specifically wait for so that we can offer you genuine rarities. No mass-produced goods, no empty marketing promises, but lively, long-lasting wines with soul – clear, clean, and flawless.

OUR WINE CULTURE
The wines we offer are the center of our philosophy. We see the character of each wine as a unique product of the vineyard, climate and craftsmanship.
VINEYARD
Is the vine growing on shell limestone or granite soil? Is it facing north or south? What is the altitude of the vineyard?… We can taste all of these factors and many more in each glas of wine.
WINE MAKER
The philosophy, craftsmanship and experience of each wine maker determine how the conditions of the vineyard and climate are expressed into the glas and how the harmony between aroma, acidity, tannins and minimality is unfolding.
CLIMATE
What is the difference in temperature between day- and night time? What is the humidity level? How long is the sunshine duration? How is the rainfall distributed throughout the year?…

Wine maker and enologist
Wine is my passion – my profession, my calling, and my life's work.
For over two decades, my life has revolved around wine. It all began with an apprenticeship as a winemaker in the Rheingau region, at the Robert Weil and Schloss Vollrads wineries, where I learned the craft from the ground up. This experience sparked my enthusiasm so much that I studied viticulture and oenology in Vienna.
I have been self-employed in the wine industry since 2017 and have continued to develop my skills. Through constant engagement with new wines, repeated re-evaluation, and intensive experience with different styles, I have developed a refined perspective and a sophisticated sense of judgment.
At the beginning of 2023, I realized my dream with Gregor's Boutique Vinothek: to create a place where artisan wines with character, origin, and attitude take centre stage. Here I live and share my philosophy of authentic wine enjoyment.

Our boutique wine shop is not only a place for exceptional wines but also a culinary meeting place. Luigi Fabbri, one of Frankfurt's most renowned Italian chefs, is responsible for the cuisine. He has made a name for himself by running his own restaurants, Leonhardi and Fabbri-ca.
Luigi's cuisine stands for Italian craftsmanship, extensive experience, and uncompromising quality. Reduced to the essentials and with a clear focus on flavour, he creates dishes that are perfectly matched to our wines—precise in taste and harmoniously integrated into the overall experience.
Anyone who knows Luigi knows that his cuisine needs no grand gestures. It impresses with its calmness, depth, and authentic flavour. We are proud to have him at our side—as a chef, host, and integral part of our philosophy of honest craftsmanship and genuine enjoyment.
